＋Vintage Taycol Star Model Boat Marine Electric Motor
This is a quite rare British 1950s Vintage Taycol Star Model Boat Marine Electric Motor. Made by Taylor and Collis (Taycol), Bournemouth, England.
Early smaller Taycol motors, such as the Star, had a permanent horseshoe electromagnetic motor with the armature mounted between the poles. The TAYCOL Star was advertised with the following specification:-
0.3 Amp
4.4 to 9 V
Combined variable speed control and reverse switch
Small boats up to 20" length or stationary models
A great find for all collectors of vintage tech. In good condition with slight loss of paint and surface blemishes.
